Well.
Starting as if from new.
Things have changed so much since the last time that i was (arguably) here that it would be misleading to do anything but start all over again. On that note, the old artwork's down. The only thing that's left up in my gallery are the two pictures of the guitars, which, in fact, prompted me to come back here.
My art has developed immensely, and at the same time, not nearly as much as I'd hoped, but nonetheless. I'm hoping to eventually put a website up of my artwork, offer portrait commissions. I'll be waiting to put up my more traditional artwork until that pulls together, I think, and also until I finish a few long, keystone pieces I'm developing now.
Also, as of tomorrow, it looks like I'll be back in the business of painting guitars. The last one that I did (the racing-striped gibson) had so many unpredictable problems come up that I wanted to give it a nice, long time before I did anything else. It ended up turning out alright, at least. While it was dreadful at the time, it at least help me sort out most of the major problems I can encounter. Now all i have to do is find a good pinstriping tape that doesn't let the paint leak under, and I think we should be good to go. I have a few ideas to work with, one guitar I'm helping my fiance redo and another that I'm going to play with myself, make sure if I can get things actually working the way i want them to. With luck, there will be news from me before too long. I'll keep you posted...
